Zane H. Tartar

Zane H. Tartar, 77, Monticello Passed away Friday, May 11, 2007 at 4:15 PM at Twin Lakes Village Nursing Home. He was born February 19, 1930 in Harlem, KY to the late Floyd W. Tartar and the late Alma (DuVall)Tartar. He married Mary Jo Tartar October 7, 1978 at Delphi, IN. She passed away May 3, 2002. Mr. Tartar served in the U.S. Army 3rd Division in Korea. He had lived in the Monticello Community since 1962 coming from Elizabethtown, KY. He worked for RCA for 19 1/2 Years. Mr. Tartar was also a Mechanic and an Autobody Repairman. He was a member of the VFW in Monticello. Survivors: Son, Dale H. Tartar of Chadbourn, NC; 3 Daughters, Yalanda G. Tartar of Logansport, IN, Calandra (Edward) M. Coates of Monticello, IN, Zanya E. Tartar of Monticello, IN; 4 Granchildren, 1 Great Grandchild He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be held at a later date at Three Forks Bacon Creek Cemetery in Munfordsville, KY. Arrangements are by Springer-Vooris-Draper Funeral Home.
