Tyler Geiger

Tyler Robert Jackson Geiger, 10, of Monticello, IN passed away, Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2:47 p.m. in Cass County, IN. He was born June 4, 1998 in White County to the late David J. Geiger and April Lee who survives in Monticello. Tyler attended 3 years of preschool at Eastlawn Elementary School. He attend 1st and 2nd grade at Meadowlawn Elementary School. Tyler attended 3rd and 4th grade at Fairview Elementary School in Logansport. He enjoyed music, Scooby Doo and riding horses. Tyler had earned three awards through the Chapps program. He had also received two awards from Camp Riley. He liked NASCAR and Indy Car Racing. He is survived by his Maternal Grandparents, Dale (Jacqueline A.) Lee of Reynolds; Maternal Great Grandparents, Bill and Judy Jessie of Reynolds; Paternal Grandparents, John (Barb) Geiger of Monticello; Paternal Great Grandmother, Phyllis Geiger of West Lafayette;Paternal Great Grandfather, Herman Reuer of Michigan City; and Uncle, John (Jenifer) Geiger of St. John, IN. He is preceded in death by his Father, David J.Geiger who passed away on October 2, 2002; Great-Grandmother, Thelma Reuer; Great- Grand Father, Robert Geiger; and Great-Grandmother Katherine Lee. Visitation will be held from 2p.m. to 5p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 5p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Raderstort officiating. Memorial Donations may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Indiana or to the Tyler Geiger Fund at the Monticello Branch of Lafayette Bank and Trust.
