Thelma M. Alspaugh, 94, Monticello passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 6:58 p.m. at White County Memorial Hospital, Monticello. She was born May 18, 1913 in French Lick to the late Veta Parsons and to the late Mary (Drabing)Parsons. She married the late Emmett Alspaugh on April 19, 1935 in Paoli, IN. He passed away September 1, 1997. Mrs. Alspaugh worked for RCA retiring May 31, 1975. She was a member of the Cane Creek Christian Church in French Lick, IN. She enjoyed cross word puzzles and was an avid NASCAR fan. She enjoyed watching the Pacers. She also liked to can and cook. Mrs. Alspaugh also enjoyed traveling. Survivors: Son, Jim W. (Lucille) Alspaugh of Bradenton, FL; Daughter-in-Law, Martha (Floyd) Alspaugh Legler of Rensselaer, IN Sister, Clarice Wortman of Reynolds, IN 2 Grandsons, Steve (Linda) Alspaugh of Indianapolis, IN, Scott Alspaugh of Lafayette, IN 2 Granddaughters, Sheryl (Brent) Howard of Lafayette, IN, Cynthia (Chris) Clark, FL 3 Great-Grandsons, Joshua Middleton, Ethan Alspaugh, Conner Clark 4 Great Granddaughters Amanda Middleton, Ashley Alspaugh, Kylie Alspaugh, Cody Clark Preceded in Death: Parents, Husband, Son: Bobbie K. Alspaugh, 6 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m., Saturday at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will take place Riverview I.O.O.F.
