On Thursday, October 10th, 2024 at 5:15 pm, Tana Jean Shepard departed this earth to join our heavenly Father in everlasting peace. She is carried on by her loving husband Gerry Shepard and daughters Taya, Tara, and Tiffany.
Tana was born May 14, 1944 in Wabash Indiana, and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1962. She went on to attend Ball State University. Tana married Gerry in the Monticello Methodist Church on March 9, 1968. She worked at White County Memorial Hospital for 17 years before happily retiring for the past 13 years. Tana was a talented stained glass artist which always supplemented her family's Christmas presents. She was an ace when it came to games and was active in Bridge and Poker Clubs. Her love for her family, her friends and her dog Charlie was a lifelong dedication. Tana was a Southern Belle at heart and always had on a new colorful ensemble of clothing and matching jewelry. She was known to light up a room and laugh whenever she had the chance. Tana was devoted to supporting her grandchildren Jacob, Nicole, Elijah, Trace, and Gabriel through all of their endeavors and was the first to call on a birthday or send congratulations. She will be missed by all.
