Stephen Noel Snowberger, 68, of Monticello, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on December 25, 1952 in Francesville to the late Virgil and Thelma (Stotler) Snowberger. On March 17, 1973 he married Cynthia Mangold in Monticello and she survives.
Stephen attended Twin Lakes High School and had worked at Monon Trailer, North White School Corporation at Reynolds Elementary School as a janitor and at Girtz Industries.
He enjoyed visiting different churches. Stephen liked yard sales, fishing, wood working, gardening, flower arranging, history, ghost adventure shows, and euchre. He was especially passionate about his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and anyone needing assistance.
In addition to his wife, Cindy, he is survived by daughter, Shannon Lawson (Joe Stevens) of Frankfort; brother, Ron (Teresa) Snowberger of Monticello; grandchildren, Dana (Austin) King, Brittany (Josh) Gilbert, Thomas Ott; great-grandchildren, Adelina, Aiden, Kalieb, Sofia, and one on the way; six step grandchildren, and 10 step great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brothers, Carl, Doug, Norman, and Danny Snowberger.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with his nephew, Paxton Snowberger officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or White County Council on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
