Staci Sue Ziemer

Staci Sue Ziemer, 36, of Monticello, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. She was born on June 27, 1977 in Indianapolis. She had been an assistant manager at the Kroger Bakery and also an assistant manger at Dollar General both of Indianapolis. She loved writing poetry, reading, planting flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed riding bikes. She adored her Miniature Pinchers and cherished time spent with her family. Surviving are her mother and dad, Peggy and D.J. Madson of Royal Center; her father,Charles Latta of Indianapolis; son Timothy Ziemer of Indianapolis; daughter, Kalee Ziemer of Monticello; fianc, Prentiss Johnston of Monticello; stepson, Brandon Johnston of Monticello; stepdaughter, Julia Johnston of Monticello; grandmothers, Loretta Hicks of Monticello and Pearl Latta of Goodland; sister, Alicia Phillips of Palm Bay, FL; half brother, Daryl Dexter of Monticello; nephew, Joey Phillips of Delphi; niece, Amber Phillips of Delphi; former mother and father-in-law, Darlene and Dick Ziemer of Monticello; former husband, Ryan Ziemer of Indianapolis, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her grandfathers, Jim Hicks and Clarence Latta preceded her in death. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 28, 2014 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Burial will follow in Riverview I.O.O.F.
