Sherry L. Janotta

Sherry L. Janotta, 52, of Monon, passed away at 9:42 pm, Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on May 21, 1963 in Indianapolis to the late James and Erma (Hall) Foley. On May 30, 2004 she married Steven E. Janotta in Kentucky and he survives. Sherry was a homemaker and enjoyed family movie nights and board games, particularly Yahtzee. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family especially her granddaughters. She is also survived by two children, Jenny Byrant (Shawn Murphy) of Monticello, Victor Galloway (Joy Pointe) of Oak Grove, KY; eight siblings, Emma (James) Drake of Franklin, Vivian (Jerry) Leonard of Rensselaer, Linda Davis of Indianapolis, Lisa Shidler of Gosport, Keith (Kathy) Mae of Nashville, Leon May of Monticello, James Foley of Louisville, KY, Jeff (Carrie) Foley of Judah; and two granddaughters, Avigayil and Allyson Bryant. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nora Foley. Private funeral services were held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello. Private burial was in Riverview I.O.O.F Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
