Sandra Ruth "Sandy" (Noe) Wilson, 76, of Monticello, passed away April 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 17, 1944 in Monticello to the late Glennis and Lois (McFadden) Noe. She married James L. "Jim" Wilson and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2017.
Sandy was a 1963 graduate of Monticello High School. She had worked at RCA, Bassett Rotary Tool, and McGills as a production laser operator from which she retired. She enjoyed quilting, roller skating, ice skating, sledding, flower gardening and cooking. She was known by many as the Boy Scout Grandma. She liked watching the Hallmark channel and she loved her dog Cocoa. She cherished time with her family, especially, her grandchildren, Kelsey and Keith.
Sandy was a member of Monticello Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Chris (Beebout) Barnes of Monticello; son, Rodney Dimmitt of Monticello; and stepson, Jim Wilson of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren, Kelsey and Keith Barnes of Monticello; siblings, Larry (Carolyn) Noe of Monticello, Doris "D" Hintz of Monticello, Garry (Rita) Noe of Monon; Aunt Donna (Jerry) Boller of Monticello and Uncle Richard (Donna) McFadden of Monticello; granddogs, Molly and Eden; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm celebrating Sandys life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Cason officiating.
Private burial will be in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery on Wednesday.
Memorial donations are encouraged to Boy Scout Troop 154 of Monticello or a humane society or shelter of the donors choice.
