Sandra Kay Telfer

Sandra K. "Sandy" Telfer, 64, of Monticello, passed away at 11:01 pm, Friday, May 26, 2017 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.She was born on December 9, 1952 in San Francisco, California to the late James and Lola (Howard) Conrad. On September 20, 1952 she married Roger S. Telfer in Monticello and he survives.After graduating high school, Sandy attended Indiana University where she received her Bachelors Degree. She worked as a legal secretary for Bob Guy at the White County Prosecuting Attorney's office. In recent years, she enjoyed being a homemaker.She was a women's auxiliary member of the Redmens Lodge and the Amvets both of Monticello.She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed cross word puzzles and computer games. In addition to her husband, Roger, she is survived by her sister, Sherry Brandon of California; half sister, Susan Young of Virginia; and half brother, James Conrad of Florida.In honor of Sandy's wishes, no public services are planned.Memorial contributions are encouraged to the Monticello Funeral Honor Guard.Messages of condolence may be extended at www.springerfuneralhome.com
