Rosemary E. Ringer, 85, of Peru, formerly of Monticello passed away at 2:02 am, Monday, June 7, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor in Peru.
She was born on January 1, 1936 in Pittsburg to the late Arthur and Helen (Jackson) Hoover. Her first marriage was to Robert Spaulding and they later divorced. Her second marriage was to Gilbert Gates. He preceded her in death. Rosemary then married Bob Ringer who also preceded her in death.
Rosemary retired from Monticello Spring. She was a past member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed painting and being outside tending to her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Benita "Bunny" McLean of Idaville; a stepson, Jim (Susan) Ringer of Wisconsin; siblings, Carol (Willis) Ogle of Denver, Tom (Linda) Hoover of Peru, and Larry (Mary Jane) Hoover of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Anton (Matt) Knueven of Laguna Hills, CA and a grandson, Jason McLean of Idaville; and step-granddaughter, Beth.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Spaulding, III and Randy Ringer; sister, Martha Lesley and a brother Raymond Hoover.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm celebrating Rosemary's life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Harold Rutledge officiating.
