Ronnie G. Smith Sr.

Ronnie G. Smith Sr., 60, of Monticello Monticello died at 5 pm, Monday, October 26, at his residence. He was born November 30, 1948 at Logan, WV to the late Lonnie and Dora (Blair) Smith. He married Judy Kitchen September 4, 1969 at Switzer, WV. She survives in Monticello. Mr. Smith was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Chicago. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a welder for Schwinn Bicycles in Chicago. After he moved to Monticello, he worked as welder for HPA formerly of Monon. Other survivors include a son, Ronnie Smith Jr. of Monticello; and a granddaughter, Shayla Cheyenne Dener. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm, Thursday, October 29 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7 pm, Thursday at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev.
