Roberta M. Church

Roberta M. Church, 100 years old, passed away April 5, 2013 at the Sunvil Board and Care in South San Francisco. She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma April 11, 1912. Raised in Idaville and graduated from Idaville High School. Her work history included the Journal Gazette News in Ft. Wayne, General Motors in Dayton, OH. She then retired from the The Fireman Fund Insurance Co. in San Francisco, CA, where she started in 1947. She was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, and past president of the Delta Theta Tau sorority. She is survived by 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Loretta (Jerry) Hoover and Ruthann (Thom) McClintock of Monticello. Dixie (Tom) Holmes of Brookston, Lynna (Mike) Klier of Livingston, TX and Richard (Carolyn) Cottrell of Fairfax, VA. She is preceded in death by father Robert Church, mother Myrtle Burget Church Stewart, stepfather, Al Stewart; sisters, Helen (Joe) Cottrell and Myrna (Don) Cross of Monticello and Grace (Beryl) Hilton of Logansport. Mrs. Church was interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma, California. Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home assisted with local arrangements.
