Robert K. Hattabaugh

Robert K. Hattabaugh, 71, of Monon, died at 6:00pm, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at IU White Health Memorial. He was born September 25, 1941 in Monon to the late Bessie Christine (Goodwin) Hattabaugh. His marriage was to Joyce Guy on Oct. 2, 1965 in Monon. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2012. He attended Monon High School. He was a member of the Guernsey Church of the Brethren. Mr. Hattabaugh retired from Walmart where he worked as a door greeter at the main doors as well at the garden doors for several years. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork and visiting with neighbors and friends. He loved his Chihuahua, Rosie. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa L. (Gene) Slaney of Buffalo, Amanda C. Dillman of Monticello; sister, Betty Cowgill of LaPorte ; grandchildren, Robbie and Katie Hattabaugh, Justin and Gene Andrew Slaney, Michael, Zachary and Shelby Dillman; 2 great grandchildren and one on the way. He was prececed in death by a son, Joseph K. Hattabaugh. Graveside memorial services will be on Saturday, November 24, at 11am at Bedford Cemetery in Monon.
