Rita F Hutton

Rita F. Hutton, 84, of Monticello, passed away at 5:56 pm, Tuesday, January 5,2016 at I U Health White Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 22, 1931 in Rochester to the late Paul M. and Ethel (Bowman) Clem. On July 1, 1949 she married Charles Burdett Hutton in White County, and he preceded her in death March 14, 1983.
She was a 1949 graduate of Idaville High School. Rita lived in the Monticello community since moving from Brookston in 1948.
She worked at Bryan Manufacturing for eleven years and then Globe Valve in Delphi for twenty-one years from which she retired in April of 1993.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, hunting, fishing, bird watching, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She loved traveling with her late husband all over the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Surviving are her sons, Michael L. (wife, Rebecca) Hutton of Monticello, Barry W. Hutton (spouse, Neal Arnold) of Louisville, KY; daughters, P. Dyanne Hutton of Monticello, Jeanette K. (husband, Chip) Warner of Monticello; son-in-law, Kenneth Lord of Monticello; brother, Charles (wife, June) Clem of Flora; sister, Irma (husband, Mick) Cook of Cutler; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were infant twin sons; daughter, Sandra L. Lord; brother, Robert Clem; and sister, Maxine North.
Visitation will be from 3pm until the time of funeral services celebrating Rita's life at 7pm, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Rev. Jason Metzinger from Pike Creek Church of the Brethren will officiate.
Private burial will be in Pike Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Pike Creek Cemetery or to the Arthritis Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.
