Rita B. Triplett

Rita B. Triplett, 88, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at White Oak Health Campus.She was born on January 13, 1929 in Chicago to the late David and Mollie (Lerner) Morris. Her marriage was to Virgil Triplett and he preceded her in death.She was a graduate of Taft High School in Chicago and worked as a secretary for Hughes Aircraft and then as an aid for the Mantino California Police Department for twenty years. Her parents first started coming down to the lake at Buffalo in 1936 and she continued the visits to now with the 5th generation living on the lake. She enjoyed watching TV and most especially loved her children and grandchildren.She is survived by three sons, Michael (Bonita) Triplett of Monticello, Richard (Nori) Triplett of WA, and Mark (Sandie) Triplett of IL; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way.In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Morris, and a grandson.No services are planned.Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Homes is entrusted with care.Online condolences may be extended at www.springerfuneralhome.com
