Ralph Feldt

Ralph A. Feldt, 89, of Monticello, died at 3:40 am on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. He was born October 6, 1922 in Lafayette in the family home to the late Harry and Martha (Lake) Feldt. His marriage was to Maxine (Pickering) Feldt on December 31, 1942 in Lafayette. She preceded him in death September 1, 2006. He grew up on the family farm. He was a retired truck driver from National Homes. He enjoyed time spent with his family and was an avid IU fan. In his earlier years, he enjoyed water skiing, boating and working on antique tractors. He is survived by two daughters, Karen (Barry) Little of Delphi, Patty (Dave) Tackett of Monticello; son, Ed (Linda) Feldt of Lafayette; daughter -in-law, Pam L. Feldt of Monticello; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Edwin and Russell Feldt; sisters, Marion Payne and Eleanor Ryan; and a son Ron Feldt. Visitation will be from 4pm until 7pm, Wednesday, March 14 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Humphrey officiating.
