Paul Edward Tweedie, 44, of Lafayette, died on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1967 in Noblesville. He was the son of Vera Lee (Bible) Tweedie and Herman Lee Tweedie. They survive in Buffalo. He attended Eastern Pulaski and Pioneer School Systems. He was an Eagle Scout and Vigil member of the Order of Arrow of Sagamore Council Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the Winamac Lodge #262 F&AM in Winamac. He was a member of Pulaski Presbyterian Church in Pulaski. He was employed at Wabash National in Lafayette. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Bruce (Erika) Tweedie of Woodbridge, VA, Robert Shawn (Marsha) Tweedie of Lafayette; nieces and nephews, Theresa and Michael Tweedie of Woodbridge,VA and Shannon and Braden Tweedie of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George and Catherine Doremire; maternal grandparents Willard and Dora Bible. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm , Saturday, October 15 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1pm with Rev. Nikki Moorehead officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Buffalo Fire Department.
