Patricia M. Johnson

Patricia M. Johnson, 78, of Monticello passed away at 10:53 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017, at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.She was born on October 27, 1939 in East Chicago to the late Paul and Margaret (Dunlop) Keefer. On October 11, 1958, in Hessville, Indiana she married Dallas E. Johnson and he preceded her in death June 15, 1999.Patricia was a graduate of Hammond High School and was primarily a homemaker. She worked for the American Red Cross and the Civil Defense. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. When her children were in school, she was a room mother every year and a Girl Scout leader. Surviving are her daughters, Lorna (Tim) Andres of Noblesville, Paula (Joe) Stucker of Brownsburg, Tina (Brad) Hahn of Monticello, Debra (Tom) Krulik of Martinsville; brother, Robert "Bob" Keefer of Monticello; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with two on the way; several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Everyone is encouraged to wear red.A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1pm at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Father David Rasner, the celebrant.Burial will follow in Bedford Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to Auguste's Cottage Memory Care.
