Patricia Joyce Jones, 88, of Monticello, passed away peacefully at 8:24 pm, Sunday, February 6, 2022 at White Oak Health Campus.
She was born on April 7, 1933 in Earl Park to the late Carl F. and Goldie (Hickman) Dora. Her mother was later known as Goldie Spogis.
She was a graduate of Rensselaer High School. Pat worked most of her career in food service managing the Tippecanoe Country Club, as owner of the FORVM, and managing the Frankfort Country Club.
She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, all genres of music, dancing and playing Bridge with her friends. She was an avid golfer. She loved animals and was soft hearted for strays.
She is survived by her long-time loving companion, "Del" Delzell of Monticello; stepchildren, Page (Jeff) Arnott of Mt. Carmel, IL, Joe Bartholomew of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Lane and Drew Arnott of Mt. Carmel, IL; sister, Bonnie (Frank) Bergman of Monticello; brother, Robert (Sue Ellen) Williams of Columbus, GA; niece, Hillia Middleton (companion, Dave Smith) of Monticello; nephews, Steve (Sue) Stearns of Monticello, Robert "Scott" (Vikki) Stearns of Ardmore, TN, and Jery (Fawn) Yates of Easley, SC; and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 6 pm, February 14, 2022 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Memorial services celebrating Pat's life will immediately follow the visitation with her brother, Robert Williams officiating services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Monticello United Methodist Church to benefit Soup for the Soul with envelopes available at the funeral home.
