Ola V. 'Lynn' Conklin

Ola V. "Lynn" Conklin, 78, of Burnettsville, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 7:00 a..m. at her residence. She was born February 7, 1929 Lynchburg, VA to the late Alfred I. Duff and the late Ola (Coleman) Duff. Her marriage was to the late Robert Conklin on February 27, 1949 in New York. He passed away March 15, 1975. Mrs. Conklin had been a waitress for many years. She then worked at the Indiana Beach Campground on the cleaning crew for 19 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Burnettsville. She was also a member of the Logansport Eagles. Survivors include: 2 Sons, Richard (Margaret) Conklin of Burnettsville, IN, Robert (Phyillis) Conklin of Burnettsville, IN; 9 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; One Brother, Roy Duff; One Sister, Shirley Sexton; One grandson; One great great grandson; and One great great granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Thursday, December 27, 2007, 1 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Burial will take place at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
