Mogia Tram Lam, 55, of Monticello died at 12:50 am, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 24, 1956 in Saigon, Vietnam to the late Phieu Dieu and Que (Luu) Tram. Her marriage was to Angelo Q. Lam on July 9, 1977, in Saigon, Vietnam, and he survives in Monticello. She attended and graduated High School in Saigon, Vietnam and attended college there as well. Sponsored by Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Mogia moved from Vietnam to Monticello in 1979 with her husband, her 18 month old son Brian, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers. She received her United States Citizen ship in 1984. She was a florist at Monticello Floral for 31 years and loved to look for creative ways to make new bows. She treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren Matthew and Nathan. She loved to cook, plant flowers, and completing puzzles. She was a very kind, thoughtful, caring, generous, and had a giving heart. She was the best wife, mom, grandma, and sister. She will be cherished by her family and all who knew and loved her. She is also survived by two sons, Brian (Teresa) Lam of Valparaiso and Khai (Amanda) Lam of Olympia, Washington; two grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Lam; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters. Visitation will be from 2 pm until the time of services at 6 pm, Sunday, August 5, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Mogias son, Mr. Khai Lam.
