Mildred 'Milly' Sieckman

Mildred "Milly" Sieckman, 90, of Reynolds, passed away at 7:50 am, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.She was born on November 5, 1927 in Lafayette to the late Benjamin and Unabelle (Ball) Buschman. She married Robert Sieckman and they later divorced, but remained life long friends. She grew up in Chalmers and was a 1945 graduate of Chalmers High School. She worked as a waitress at Green Gables for twenty five years and later at Landes Plastics until she retired. She was also an Avon representative until the end of 2017.She was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church and served as treasurer for many years. She was active in the Bible Study Club, Quilting club and the Joy Club. She had been a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, walking cooking, and baking. She was famous for her candied pecans at Christmas. She loved butterflies. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Milly was especially proud of the five generation picture published in the newspaper. Her church was the center of her life.She is survived by her children, Gary D. (Marcia) Sieckman of Mt. Pleasant, WI and Paulette Pryor of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Kelly (Lee) Hurst and Kevin (Maggie) Sieckman; great grandchildren, Maddie, Olivia, Nick, Kyra, Genesis, Elijah, Grace; and great-great grandson, Lucas.She was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Mae Montgomery and former husband and friend, Robert Sieckman.Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm celebrating Milly's life on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.Private burial will be in Meadow Lake Cemetery in Wolcott.Memorial contributions may be given to the Reynolds United Methodist Church.
