Melissa Sue Swafford

Melissa Sue Swafford, 45, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at I. U. Health White Memorial.
She was born on April 26, 1975 in Lebanon to James Robert and Diana (Pendergast) Swafford. Her father resides in Monticello.
Melissa was a free spirit who enjoyed nature, long walks and deer watching. She loved people and animals, especially her four dogs. Most of all, she loved her kids.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Christopher Kane Moss of Monticello, David Lee Moss of Indianapolis, and James Robert Moss of Indianapolis; siblings, Andrea (Travis) Hodges-Waddell of Frankfort, Michelle Swafford of Veedersburg, Amber Hodges of Colfax; grandson, Vaedon King Noble and his mother, Angela Noble; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration of Melissa's life will be coordinated at a later date.
