Mary Katherine Schilling

Mary Katherine Schilling, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 4:22 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital and Healthcare Center in Beech Grove, IN. She was born on January 31, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Halbert E. and Martha E. (Myers) Fillinger. Mary attended the University of Indianapolis. She received her Masters in Elementary Education from Butler University. Mrs. Schilling was a school teacher at Wanamaker Elementary School retiring after 29 years. She was a member of the Indiana State Teacher Association. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a Son, James L. (Sherry) Herman of Georgia, Daughter, Laurie E. (John) Mann of California, Brother, Earl (Phyllis) Fillinger of Monticello, and 2 Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother and One Sister.
