Mary Jo Queisser

Mary Jo Queisser 84 of Delavan, Wisconsin formerly of Monticello passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 4:45 pm at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, WI. She was born on March 4, 1924 in Indianapolis, to the late John Manley and the late Clara (Kootz)Manley. Her marriage was to the late Roger Queisser on September 13, 1947 in Indianapolis. He passed away on June 2, 1995. Mrs. Queisser was a homemaker. She was a former parishoner of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where she was a lector, eucharist minister, and at one time organized funeral dinners. She was past president of Long Grove Historical Society in Long Grove, IL. She had once been a volunteer at the Monticello Healthcare Center. She was a member of a Quilting Bee in Monticello. Survivors include: Daughter, Jean A. Queisser (Mike Gerth) of Waterford, WI; 4 Sons, David J. Queisser of Old Ashippin, WI, James F. (Maggie) Queisser of Elkhorn,WI, Michael A.(Susan) Queisser of West Chicago, IL, Thomas A. Queisser of West Chicago, IL. 2 Grandsons, Jerome J.(Kim) Queisser of Beaver Dam, WI, George Queisser of Old Ashippin,WI Granddaughter, Donna M. Queisser of West Allis,WI Great-Grandson, Timothy Queisser of Beaver Dam, WI Great-Granddaughter, Emma Queisser of Beaver Dam, WI, and a Brother, Paul Manley Of Indianapolis She was preceded in death by her: Parents, Brothers, John Manley, and Thomas Manley. Sisters, Rita Easterday, Margaret Roth. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 5:30pm at the Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Friday, October 24, 2008, 10 a.m. with Father Gerald Borwaski and Father James Goodrum officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzhimers Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
