Mary E Snyder

Mary E. Snyder, 104, of Monticello formerly of Reynolds, passed away at 8:05 am, Monday, June 30, 2014 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. She was born on October 1, 1909 in Wolcott to the late Harry and Lena (Reprogel) Davis. On October 29, 1929 she married Ernest Snyder in Wolcott and he preceded her in death December 13, 1995. Mary was a mother and homemaker. It was an honor for her to take care of her family and she loved being a grandmother. She enjoyed time spent working in her garden. She was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Richard R. Snyder of Monticello, William E. (Nancy) Snyder of Miamisburg, OH, Connie S. (Edward) Bailey of Santee, CA; nine grandchildren, Linda S. Snyder of Reynolds, Richard E. Snyder of Logansport, Cathy Snyder of Monticello, Shari Nichols of Frankfort, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Snyder of Indianapolis, Tina (Brian) Bailey-Johnson of El Cajon, CA, Edward (Nancy) Bailey of Lakeside, CA, Gregory and Bradley Snyder of Ohio; eight great-grandchildren, Zachary, Adam, and Andrew Nichols, Jacob Snyder, Sophia Snyder, Chelsa Snyder, and Jessica and Christina Bailey; one great-great grandson, Bentlee McBride; and former daughter-in-law, Dee Snyder. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Snyder; and a daughter-in-law, Birdie R. Snyder. Graveside funeral services will be at 12:15 pm, Saturday at Riverview I.O.O.F Cemetery with Rev. Glen Knepp of the Reynolds United Methodist Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Reynolds United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
