Marjorie L. Anderson

Marjorie L. Anderson, 90, of Greencastle, formerly of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Mill Pond Health Campus.She was born in Peru on June 7, 1927 to the late Leon and Viola (Fershee) Wilhite. She married Dallas Anderson in Peru on September 11, 1949 and he preceded her in death April 24, 2013. Marjorie moved from Wabash to Monticello in 1962. She moved to Cloverdale in 2013 to be closer to family and subsequently moved to Greencastle when she transitioned to Mill Pond for extended care.She worked in food service and catering businesses for many years.Marjories passions were her husband, family and home.Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Gardiner of Cloverdale and Gloria (Alan) Mehringer of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Gwendolyn (Don) Stattner of Cloverdale, and Kirk Gardiner of Bloomington; six great-grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Ethan, Adam, Eric, and Sarah.In addition to her husband, Dallas she was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Wilhite.Private family services will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Rev.
