Lucille Davis Tortomasi, 83, of Monticello passed away at 12: 25 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born February 22, 1926 in Kokomo to the late Alpha L. and Mildred H. (Poe) Powell. Her first marriage was to Wendell Phillips, her second marriage was to Oren R. Davis, and her third marriage was to Paul J Tortomasi. They preceded her in death. Lucille was a graduate of West Middleton High School, West Middleton, IN. She retired from Delco Electronics, Kokomo after 30 years of service. She was a life member of the VFW Womens Auxillary. She was also a life member of the American Legeion Womens Auxillary where her husband Oren Davis was a past commander. Survivors include: Son, James "J.C." Phillips of Burnettsville; Daughter, Debora K. McCroskey of Pilot Point, Texas; 2 Brothers, Leotis Powell, David Powell; 4 Sisters, Addalene Nickle, Willadean Schafer, Elsie Condo, Mary Van Tiem; Grandchildren, Nine; Great-Grandchildren, Several A memorial service will be at 1p.m., Saturday, March 14 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with the Rev.
