Lova O. Westerhouse, 90, of Monticello passed away at 12:43 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2009 at White County Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 16, 1918 in Buffalo to the late Charles W. and Delilah (Imler) Bell. Her marriage was to George E. Westerhouse on December 30, 1936 at the home of Alvin Hall near Buffalo. He passed away July 2, 1983. She was a 1936 Graduate of Buffalo High School. Mrs. Westerhouse was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and bird watching. Survivors include: 2 Sons, Samuel (Jeri) Westerhouse of Monticello, Jerry (Karen) Westerhouse of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; A Daughter, Delilah (Jim) Jordan of Francesville; Daughter-in-Law, Jennifer Sparrow Westerhouse of Indianapolis; 4 Grandsons, Michael Westerhouse, David Westerhouse, Bradley Jordan, Stephen (Amanda) Jordan; 4 Granddaughters, Kelley Westerhouse, Amy (Richard) Wickstrom, Nancy (John) Lynch, Kristine (Byron) Teeter, and eleven Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, James H. Westerhouse; 2 brothers, John and Walter Bell; and 2 sisters, Fern Moore and Ima Watts. There will be no public visitation. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Buffalo Cemetery with her son-in-law, Jim Jordan offering a time of remembrance.
