Lorena "Lee" Vinyard Jones, 89, of Monticello, passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born September 9, 1918 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Adam Vinyard and Florence M. (Bell) Vinyard. Lee was a 1936 graduate of Reynolds High School where she had been a Yell Leader. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello. She was a memeber of the American Legion, Eagles, and Moose womens auxillaries. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, playing cards, fishing and dancing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, and will be remembered for her noodles. Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Bev (Earl) Runyon of Monticello, Marietta Moore of Beaufort, SC, Bev Lear of Peoria, IL; Son, Dean Kesler of Palm Springs, CA; Sister, Jayne Mansfield (companion Ron Moll) of Brookston; Lee's special companion Jim Paulson of Monticello; 2 Nieces, Tana Mansfield, Marilee (Robert) Roloff; Nephew, Scott Mansfield (companion Sarah); Great-Niece, Samantha Mansfield; 6 Grandchildren, Angie Eastridge, Lori (Eddie) Brown, Tonja (Rob) Flannagan, Tabitha (Chad) Dewitt, Steve Runyon, Danny (Jodi) Runyon, and James Brown; 10 Great-Grandchildren, Michelle Runyon, Kayli Flannagan, Cassie Flannagan, Lauren Dewitt, Megan Dewitt, Tiffany Brown, Lakin Eastridge, Steve Runyon, Matthew Dewitt,and Shannon Brown. Also surviving is her beloved cat Baby Jane. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Sister, Evelyn Gardner; Two Brothers, Charles & Herbert Gardner; Brother-in-law, Dick Mansfield; and a grandson, Greg Runyon Burial will be in West Point Township Cemetery near Wolcott. Visitation will be from Noon - 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home Funeral Services will be at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Thursday, July 3, 2008, 2 p.m. with Rev.
