Linda Koekenberg

Linda Susan Koekenberg, 71, of Monticello, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital at 8:05pm.
She was born on October 17, 1949 in Lafayette to the late Isaac Dale and Lura (Randolph) Cain. On November 4, 1973 she married Curt Koekenberg in Delphi and he survives.Linda was a 1967 graduate of Delphi High School. She had worked at Todd Bowman Automotive as a bookkeeper, Bryan Manufacturing as a secretary, Alloy Crafts as a payroll clerk and later at J.H. Saylor in payroll and bookkeeping.In past, she was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club. She enjoyed spending time with family as they traveled yearly to the international Studebaker meets. She was also a past member of the Gold Wing Road Riders. She greatly enjoyed road trips on the Gold Wing, along with her husband and son in the side car. Linda was a collector of Precious Moments. She enjoyed time with friends, especially on their trips to Shipshewana. She enjoyed reading and cherished time with her family, especially her grandsons.In addition to her husband, Curt of Monticello, she is survived by a son, Dale (Carollee) Koekenberg of Monticello; grandchildren, Lance, Alden, Calan; and brother, Alan Cain.Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services celebrating Linda's life at 1:00 pm Friday, July 9, 2021 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating.Additionally, friends and family are invited to attend funeral services celebrating Linda's life via live webcast at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 using the following link: https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1147602 or may be accessed at www.springerfuneralhome.comBurial will follow in Bedford Cemetery, Monon, IN.Memorial contributions are encouraged to the American Cancer Society or Arthritis Foundation.
