Leon Edward "Ozzie" Osborne, 72 of Clarks Hill passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Ken-Do Campground in Clarks Hill.Ozzie was born on May 18, 1946 in Miami County to the late Ralph and Doris (Hostetler) Osborne.He was a 1964 graduate of Oak Hill High School and then joined the Navy and served for four years. He worked as a maintenance man at Ken-Do Campground in Clarks Hill for the last ten years.Ozzie enjoyed fishing and dirt track racing at Shady Hill and also Daugherty Speedway. He enjoyed time spent with his campground family, Carl and Linda Sweat and their daughter Carol. He is survived by daughters, Amanda Osborne and significant other, Josh White of Yeoman, and Shannon (husband, Jordan) Coble of Burnettsville; siblings, Nanette (Ron) Browning of Kokomo and Doyle Osborne of Russiaville; grandchildren, Kolby, Faith and Brady; and several nieces and nephews.He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Verbata Williams and Melvena Osborne; and his brother, Virgil Osborne. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
