Leila Lytle

Leila Lytle, 93, of Mt. Morris, IL formerly of Monticello, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Pinecrest Brethren Home, Mt. Morris, Illinois. She was born March 12, 1916 at Monticello to the late Frank and Ollie (Fisher) Benjamin. Leila was a native of Monticello and was a member of Pike Creek Church of the Brethren. She was a retired manager for Hart Schaffner Marx. Survivors include: Son, Jim (Judith) Lytle of Warrenville, IL; Daughter-in-Law, Lois Lytle of Dixon, IL; Eight Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; and one Great-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clyde; Brothers, Marion, Edwin, and David; Sisters, Laverne, and Una Mae. Visitation will be from 2 until 3 pm (EDT), Tuesday, May 19 at Pike Creek Church of the Brethren. Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm (EDT) at Pike Creek Church of the Brethren with Rev. Jason Metzinger officiating. Burial will be at Pike Creek Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Pinecrest Brethren Home, 414 S. Wesley, Mt. Morris, Illinois 61054.
