Ladel Rahn

Ladel Rahn 72, of Monticello, passed away, Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 10:10 am at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born on March 21, 1936 at Roachdale, Indiana in the family home to the late Hans J. Rahn and the late Irene A.D. (Rahn)Rahn. Ladel graduated from High School in Newman, IL. She had worked for RCA in Indianapolis and Monticello. She also worked in the kitchen at Tippecanoe Country Club. She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music, sewing ,crafts, crocheting, traveling and drawing. She also liked animals. She had a very generous heart and always put others first. She took very good care of her sister, Carmoletta and her companion Marvin. Survivors include: Sister, Wandalee I. Eggers of North Salem, IN. She is preceded in death by Parents, Long time Companion: Marvin Webb, 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at New Hope Lutheran Church. A memorial funeral service will follow at New Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim Ward officiating. Burial will take place at the Brookston Cemetery.
