Kevin Dale Tucker

Kevin Dale Tucker, 54, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. 

He was born on September 4, 1969 in Hammond to Rebecca S. (Crowder) Hightshoe. She survives in Monticello with Kevin's step father, Dave Hightshoe. 

Kevin was a truck driver. He had recently moved to Monticello and loved living here. Kevin was fun loving, liked to fish and watch the birds and deer in his yard.   

Along with his mother and stepfather, Kevin is survived by two sons, Timothy and Devin Tucker; one brother, Dennis (Lori) Tucker of Monticello; two nephews, Jeremy Tucker of Washington State and Phillip Tucker of Monticello; two aunts, Darlene (Rich) Cleveringa of Highland and Penny (John) Flores of Hobart; an uncle, John Siple of Monticello; two step brothers, Dane and Ryan Hightshoe; one step sister, Donelle Hightshoe; his loving first wife, Michelle and loving second wife, Melinda and numerous cousins. 

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Tucker; niece, Heather; maternal grandparents Jim and Evelyn Siple and step brother, Jason Hightshoe.

A memorial service celebrating Kevin's life will be held at a later date. 

Since Kevin was an organ donor, memorial contributions may be given to the Indiana Donor Network, 3750 Guion Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
