Keith Kerr

Keith Kerr, 64, of Monticello, passed away at 12:55 am, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on March 14, 1956 in Terre Haute to the late Don and Ruth (Southern) Kerr. On March 13, 1984 he married Susan Paulsen. They later divorced but remained friends and she resides in Frankfort. He married the former Cynthia Bouge on September 1, 2001 in Monticello and she preceded him in death on September 3, 2013.
Keith was a graduate of Morton High School in Hammond and worked as a carpenter and then in shipping as forklift operator for Wabash National in Lafayette. He loved sail boating and watching the boats come in and out. He was a loner and a homebody, but enjoyed time with his family.
Surviving are his children, Kristina (husband, Nick) Light of Frankfort, Kacie Kerr of Frankfort, Kyle Kerr (wife,Nadaira) Thomas) of Fort Sill, OK; sisters, Vikki (husband, Peter) Kallas of Hammond, and Donna (husband, Paul) Turek of Crete, IL; grandchildren, Kylie, Logan, Macie, and Keian.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to the Monon Veterinary Clinic to offset expenses for sheltered animals. Contributions may be mailed directly to the Monon Veterinary Clinic.
In keeping with Keith's wishes, there will be no public services.
