Karen Joyce Lawley

Karen J. Lawley, 38, of Monticello, passed away at 10:33 am, Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born on November 24, 1976 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Randell G. Lawley and Lori (Leigh) Lewis. Her mother, Lori (Joe) Lewis survives in Huntsville, AL. Karen was a 1995 graduate of Hammond High School. She enjoyed music and singing, and had a beautiful voice.When she was younger, she sang in the church competitions. She cherished time spent with her daughters. Also surviving are three daughters, Jessica McBride of Monticello, Larissa McBride of Schererville, Kayla McBride of Monticello; sister, Christy Frankenberger of Monticello; brother, Randell (Jessica) Lawley, II of Goodyear, AZ; companion, Michael Raschke of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello, with Rev. Keith Maynard officiating.
