June Marie Johnson, 76, of Monticello, passed away at 6:37 pm, Friday, December 21, 2018 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on September 1, 1942 in Rensselaer to Glendale and Rosa (Brockus) Rude.
She was a graduate of Fair Oaks High School and worked at Joseph Motors in Monticello for many years.
She liked to travel and loved watching soap operas. June was an avid fan of her Cubbies and Bronco's, especially Payton Manning.
She is survived by her children, Juanita Potts of Lafayette, John (Shari) Johnson of Rensselaer, Bonnie (Companion Andy) Bell of FL, James Roland "Sas" (Tina) Wright, Jr. Johnson of Peru; grandchildren, Jodie (Companion Jeremy), Jolene (Abelardo), Josh (Companion Jackie), Elizabeth (Justin), Ryan (Companion Kendra), Curtis, Heather (Companion Dustin), Terri Ann, Misty, Ashley; great grandchildren, Bianca (Companion Kyle), Breanna (Companion Logan), Donnie (Companion Brooke), Orlando, Narciso (Companion Kayla), Pedro, Levigh, Perthena, Brandyn, Landyn, Kamryn, Zack, Chase, Liam, Kurtis, Serenity, Desi, Ahri, Eylah, Savannah, Kelsey, Thomas; great-great grandchildren, Kellen, Kya, Zayden, Kenzlee; good friends, Juanita Molon, Sherry VanVoorst, Yvonne Zornes, Shirley Pattengale, Matthew Minnick and Bonnie Bondarevich.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Louise Rude, Dorothy Rude, brother, Walter "Whiz" Rude; grandchildren, Derek Johnson, Robert "Boo" Bell, great-grandchildren, Keira, Baby Boy O'Brien.
Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be offered to Riley Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
