Judy K. Elliott, 67, of Monticello died at 6:34 am, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at White County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 6, 1943 in Renesaler to Francis Leroy and Vera (Kahler) Williams. They are deceased. On June 17, 1961, in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello she married James R Elliott, Sr. who survives. Judy was a 1961 graduate of Monticello High School. She was primarily homemaker and a retired bail bondsman. She was a member Sitka Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling and bowled on Tuesday and Wednesday morning coffee leagues for 37 years. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs. She enjoyed reading. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She is also survived by a daughters, Jacki (Dan) Combs of Monticello; sons, Dr. James (Rebecca) Elliott of Sitka, and Jeffery Elliott of Monticello; granddaughters, Airianna (Zack) Van Kleek of Wabash, Kahler Elliott of Granger, Laurin Elliott of Sitka, and Shea Elliott of Wheatfield, Emily Combs of Monticello, and Elizabeth Combs of Monticello; Grandsons, Jim (Sam) Elliott III of Monticello, Xander Combs of Monticello, Parker Combs of Monticello, and Travis Combs of Monon; great-granddaughter, Willa Van Kleek; and great-grandson Ian James Elliott Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8 pm, Friday, October 8 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, and also one hour prior to 3 pm, funeral services Saturday at the funeral home with her son Dr. James Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello. Memorial donations may be given to the Happy Tails. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
