Joyce Addie Hattabaugh, 69, of Monon died at 1:35 pm, Friday, June 29, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 28, 1943 in Logansport to the late James Delton Guy and the surviving Amanda Luella (Smith) Guy. On October 2, 1965 in Monon she married Robert K. Hattabaugh and he survives. She was a member of the Gurnsey Church of the Brethren. She had attended Burnettsville High School. She was primarily a homemaker but had worked as laborer Schumacher Electric in Rensselaer and also at Bryans Manufacturing in Monticello. She was a member of the women's sewing group at Gurnsey Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, crocheting and knitting with friends and neighbors. She is also survived by two daughters, Lisa L. (Gene) Slaney of Buffalo, Amanda C. (Brian) Dillman of Monticello; daughter-in-law, Mary Hattabaugh Hall; 7 grandchildren, Robby and Katie Hattabaugh, Justin, and Gene Andrew Slaney, Michael, Zachary, and Shelby Dillman; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren on the way. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph K. Hattabaugh; and a brother, James Lee Guy. Funeral services are private. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
