John K. Peters

John K. Peters, 46, of New Palestine, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Joann K. (Lykins) Peters and sons Kip and Willie Peters of New Palestine and brother William Bill Peters of Delphi, Indiana. His entire business career was devoted to the automatic fire sprinkler industry and he was the owner of K.J. Funke & Associates for the past 17 years. His personal interests included camping, fishing and Harley Davidson motorcycles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Angel Fund, Arcadia Developmental Center, 303 Franklin Avenue, Arcadia, IN 46030 would be sincerely appreciated. Visitation will be Friday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Hendryx Funeral Home in Cumberland. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Springer Voorhis Draper Funeral Home of Monticello, with burial immediately following at the St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Reynolds.
