John H. Kelley

John Kelley, 68, of Rochester, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
He was born on January 11, 1953 in Portsmouth, OH to the late William and Goldie (Riley) Kelley. Goldie later married Art Rawlins and he is also deceased. On December 8, 2007, John married Gail A. Urbin in Rochester. She passed away on December 18, 2021.
John worked for the state highway from which he retired. He later took a position at Walmart in Logansport. He enjoyed motor cycles and 60's muscle cars. He especially cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, John M. (Keri) Kelley of West Portsmouth, OH; daughter, Cassie Kelley of FL; four siblings, Carol Shump of Portsmouth, OH, Billy Kelley of Dona Vista, FL, Donald Kelley of Momence, IL, Ronnie Kelley of Monticello; grandchildren, Kerstin and Jackson Kelley, Joseph Epstein, and Aria Brooks.
In addition to his parents, step-father, and wife, Gail, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Char Melton, and brother, David Kelley.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of services at 2:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2021 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Doug McCombs officiating.
Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Pulaski Animal Center in Winamac or Cause for Paws in Logansport. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
