John Gedcus

John Gedcus, 67, of Michigantown, formerly of Monticello died at 10:40 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville. He was born September 2, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Alice Gedcus, Sr. His marriage was to Priscilla Gunderman-Gedcus on September 10, 2008 in Branson, Missouri. She survives in Michigantown. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1963. He graduated from several trade schools, where he held several degrees. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Monticello and Frankfort. He is also survived by a daughter, Angie Gedcus of Monticello; Sister, Charlotte of Chicago, IL; 3 granddaughters, Alison Gedcus, Kayla Gedcus, Hope Gedcus; 4 great-grandchildren, Joleen, Fernando, Donovan and Chloe. He is preceded in death by a sister, Deloris. Services will be private for the family. Springer-Voorhis-Draper is entrusted with arrangements.
