John Allen Worm

John Allen Worm, 69, of Monticello, IN, died at 3:16pm on Friday, May 18, 2012 in Attica, IN. He was born June 9, 1942 in South Bend, IN to the late William Harold and Genevieve Grace (Moon) Worm. He was a 1960 graduate of Lakeville High School. Mr. Worm was a farmer for 55 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wolcott. He was an Eagle Scout. Mr. Worm loved fishing, family and spending time at the lake. He loved his grandchildren. Mr. Worm also enjoyed raising horses, beef cattle and border collie dogs. He is survived by his children, Dawn Jewell of Ashley, IN, Johnny (Loree) Worm of Attica, IN and Kristi (Mark) Hunter of Carmel, IN and their mother Sandy. He is also survived by three brothers Loren (Marsha) Worm of Florida, Donny (Lucy) Worm, FL, Paul Worm of FL and eight grandchildren, Uriah, Kort, Camdin, Briston, Jacquelyn, Jeshiah, Gracie, Bella He is preceded in death by a brother, Roger Worm and a sister, Nancy Rousch Visitation is from 2pm to 4pm Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 pm at the funeral home with Elder Todd Kirts officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
