MEMORIAL SERVICES ARE PENDING Joe E. Lanham, 70, of Clarkshill, Indiana died at 2:05 pm, March 5, 2012 at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born June 6, 1941 in Bethelridge, KY to the late Ernest M. and Essie Myrtle (Wesley) Lanham. He was a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Retired veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the USS Kitty Hawk. He worked as a bookkeeper for the Kilmore United Methodist Church. He loved the Lord and was very faithful working in the mission field. He enjoyed genealogy and trail walking. Surviving are two sons, Ernest Lanham of Lafayette, Tim Lanham of Monticello; daughter, Kathy Hickman of Monticello; Brother, Loyd (Emma) Lanham of Delphi; two sisters, Viola Ottinger of Williamsport, IN, Mary Patterson of KY; 6 grandchildren, Ricky Lanham, Logan Hickman, Kaeden Dishon, Erika Bick, Kristyn Hickman, Heather Lanham; and companion, Claudia Slipher of Frankfort, IN.
