Joan Creigh
She was born on November 13, 1933 in Fort Wayne to the late Joseph and Helen (Sarizon) Hambrock. On October 22, 1950 she married Terrence "Mike" Creigh. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2000.
She was the co-owner of Tall Timbers Marina along with her husband. She loved water skiing, boating, horseback riding and bowling. She enjoyed watching figure skating and westerns. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley.
Joan was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. (Mary) Creigh of Monticello, Gary (Kim) Creigh of Monticello; daughter, Patty Shelton of Monticello; six grandchildren, Nicholas Creigh, Patrick Creigh, Ashley Creigh (Lance) Schwab, Sara Shelton (Joe) Brown, Katelyn Creigh, Larry Michael Creigh; eight great grandchildren, Foster Creigh, Nash Creigh, Juliet Schwab, Jett Schwab, Adler Schwab, Prim Schwab, Beau Brown, Luke Brown.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel E Creigh, two sisters, and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Fr. Dan Duff officiating.
Burial will be private.
The family kindly requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be given to Courage Rock, 5622 N. East Shafer Dr., Monticello, 47960. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
