Jennie L. King, 68, of Monticello, passed away at 2:15 am, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1945 in Kokomo to the late Walter F. and Anna (Cunningham) Alexander. Jennie was a 1963 graduate of Clinton Central High school and worked as a home health care provider for thirty years. She also worked at the old White County Memorial Hospital for twenty-three years as a certified nursing assistant. When she had free time, she enjoyed barbecues and time spent around the pool with her family and friends. She also enjoyed horseback riding and never missed a yard sale. Surviving are her children, Danny Wallace of Monticello, David (Mandy) Wallace, and Jennifer Fultz both of Logansport; sister, Joyce Alexander of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Louella Jones, and Carole Alexander; brother, Donald Alexander; and one great-grandson. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Rev. Chris Murphy officiating.
