Janet Arlene Alexander,56, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2008 at her residence. She was born on May 26, 1952 in Lafayette, Indiana to Peter Dexter and Vera (Coffman) Baker. She is survived by her Daughter, Michelle (Companion Craig Dunbar) Mitchell of Americus, IN. 2 Sons, Daryl (Companion Rebecca Mills) Dexter of Monticello, IN, Brad (Tiffany) DeVoss of Dayton, IN. 2 Brothers Larry (Janice) Dexter of Corbin, KY, Carl (Jean) Gray of Winamac, IN. 3 Sisters, Pat (Bud) Kelley of Monticello, IN, Melva (Melvin) Wooden of Davenport, Oklahoma, Phyllis Belden of Monticello, IN. 9 Grandchildren, Jenifer, Robert, Adrian, Amber, Haley, Katie, Zoee, Conner and Harleigh 2 Great Grandchildren: Heidi and Lana. She is preceded in death by her Parents and Sister Bobby Werderitsh. Burial will be held at Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette, IN A Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.
