James William Siple Jr.

James William Siple Jr., 44, of Monticello died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born March 30, 1965 at Hammond to the late James W. and Evelyn (Terpstra) Siple Sr. He had been a steel hauler for Ace Doran Hauling and Rigging of Gary for a number of years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and trucking. He loved his dog Skippy. Survivors include: 2 sons, Erik Siple of Trinity , AL, Kirk Siple of Jacksonville, FL; 2 daughters, Kristy Siple of East Chicago, Katelyn Siple of Trinity , AL; brother, John Siple of Monticello; 3 sisters, Rebecca (David) Hightshoe of Hammond, Darlene Stevens (significant other Rich Cleveringa) of Highland, Penny (John) Flores of Hammond; 2 grandsons, Roy and James Siple; and the mother of his children Teresa Sepanski of Trinity, AL. He is also preceded in death by nephew. Visitation will be from 4pm until 7pm (EDT), Tuesday, October 27 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm (EDT), Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Dodson of the Monticello Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Hughes Cemetery at a later date.
