Jack Harris

Jack Harris, 66, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on May 17, 1955 in Lafayette to the late Raymond Dean and Betty (Stearns) Harris. On July 28, 2001 he married Ligaya "Arlene" Gundaya in Monticello and she survives.
Jack was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School. He worked at Small Parts, Inc in tool and die for 26 years in Monticello and Logansport before his retirement.
Jack enjoyed cutting wood and rabbit and raccoon hunting. He would wake up early to take his grandchildren to the bus stop. Jack enjoyed traveling to the Philippines especially Cebu and Bohol.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Bryant of Monticello and a son, Eric Harris of Franklin, LA; and four grandchildren, Zach, Ricky, Devin and Lexy; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the time of services celebrating Jack's life at 7:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Lee Hargitt officiating.
Due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns, the family requests that everyone in attendance wear a mask inside.
